My GF and I use my PC and we each have our own seperate accounts. Which is fine until today i open up WMP and see a bunch of her music in it. And i dont want her retarded music in with mine. So is there a way to just separate her files from mine? Would i need to create a new partition for her or install another OS onto a separate partition ? Basically i want her shit nowhere near mine. So would that require just me making a partition and that be hers or would i need to install an OS on it? And if i do install an OS and have 2 separate OS on 2 different partitions how will that affect my PC?

The problem is, some programs and games only work once after installation, and won't work after that. Hey there, nano here. Last night some of you may have caught me on IRC ranting about how I haven't played CS in a million years and how Steam doesn't work. I tried reinstalling it multiple times and it still give me the same problem. Another game won't come up just like Steam doesn't... You think it could be a directX problem? If not, what is it? So far it's been two applications that require DirectX to work. This is all I've concluded so far since I've tried reinstalling the applications. Any ideas? Solutions?

Has this been cracked yet? Or is there a permanent key or anything? I have a couple copies and i tried one once but didnt have it on long enough to see if it was cracked or worked more than the 30 day timer. Anyone know if this is done yet? If so, anyone have a permanent key for the 32bit version. (Ya Ya rules blah blah, id download a new copy, but my downloads wont go faster than 55kbs atm, so that would take maybe 1 or 2 months) So any help?

Well my pc fucked up a while back, but it was still under guarentee (however you spel it) so they came round and fixed it, It finaly switched on again <3 but! fucking cant play games i get on, with a average fps.. then it will just drop, for ages! then randomly go up again we thought it was the gfx card... got a new one, better than the old one obv. fuck all changed new powersupply, fuck all changed. dno what to do :( help pleash! :rape:

I'm downloading the Windows Server 2008 Beta 3 (just to fool around with for a bit), but the download weighs in at around 1.8 gigabytes, which means that I can't burn this onto a single CD. (I don't have a DVD burner.) So, I thought, perhaps I can install from this ISO right off the hard drive instead of going out and buying a DVD burner and burning the thing instead. Anyone with links to free software (or free trials, at any rate) that would enable me to do so? I'm very eager to try out this beta. (It's free until April 2008.)

I'm running this right now; and it feels so much like Vista, except that it has been bloated with a lot of server-related stuff. I'm messing around with the new PowerShell (feels a lot more powerful than the old Command Prompt) and a few other things. Anyone running this right now? I must admit that this public beta feels very much like a free version of Windows Vista. BTW, this is running until April 2008.

I downloaded Fraps a couple of time from torrent files (hacked version so i don't have to pay) yet i have trouble loading it, it appear it installs fine but then when i double click the icon, nothing happens and its at a stand still. Any ideas?

Basically i want to make a back up of my hard drive, well actually just part of it. Like my games, music and movies. And the last time i did anything closeto that, i used Partition Magic and just installed all my games and such to that partition but then when i formatted none of the games worked. My music and movies still worked but not the games. What did i do wrong? Or is partitioning the drive just a totally different thing than that?

i tired google but didn't work so heres my problem when i transfer the songs to itunes to my ipod the music quality is bad ... like it sound like a cracking sound like its playing from a old record player you guys know what i mean ? The song was perfect before , no problems but after 4 or 5 times uploading to my ipod the mp3 quality goes bad ... its really frustrating because when i listen to my songs i like them perfect .... this problem making me have OCD :happysad: lol jk but anyone have any ideas ... or how to fix the mp3s if its possible ...
