Hey is it possible to Reinstall Windows XP without losing any of your information on your computer? I just got a legit XP and want to install it on my overly used unlegit computer. Hi. I downloaded and burned Brood War, but it doesn't recognize the CD I burned. In addition, when I try to play it w/ a nocd loader, when I connect to BNet it doesn't recognize my version or something. Is BW copy protected? And if so, how can I burn it with all the proper copy protection software? Thanks. P.S. I checked Google. EDIT: And I do have a legit cd-key, I just lost my BW cd.

K, well i used Partition Magic after my last format and no complaints. I have all my games on my backup drive, and my OS and other Progs that i dont care if i lose on my other. Question is: Apparently i have 3 partitions, C: which contains my OS, and progs i wouldnt care if i lost. H: (my backup) which contains all my games, movies, music etc... And a third. This 3rd partition is the one im curious about. Its called Hidden. When i made the H drive i never noticed the hidden one. Im wondering what this one is for? I'm currently using an old asus x800xt and I plan to upgrade to a 512mb card that supports shader 3.0. Now I don't really like cheap light versions (like x1600 and shit like that) and I don't know much about nvidia cards. But since I won't be playing on extreme resolutions (1600x1200 max) getting an ATI card might be pointless. I've seen benchmarks with the GeForce 7950 GX2 that looked very nice (compared to a x1950 xtx) and I've heard about the 8800 gts not being too shabby either. So which card should I choose? I don't want to spend much more than 500 USD or 400 EUR.

First point : Im only doing this for a test. I understand that alot of your view phishing with a bad opinion on it. But i just wanna give it a shot.
