well one of my friends has a virus on aim nd it sends a link to everyone that says...."did you see my new ******* picture?" or something like that nd then has a link on it like...*******.com/187/picture3...i think it is or pic3...idr....does ne1 kno how to fix it for them

A folder was set up for me on a server. The folder is added to my computer as a Network Place. The only way to access any of the files though, is by knowing and typing in the exact name (plus extension) for the URL. Is it possible to set up a directory to show all the files in that folder instead of giving me a no access page or whatever. Let's say the URL to the folder is: http://crazy.com/insane/ And if I type that in, it doesn't display anything. How can I get it to display my files? Thanks.

Hey guy's, I have a Cyrix Processor that overheat's really bad, And it shake's and make's loud noises. So i have to put it in the fridge to cool off. I need a new Processor because I really want to be able to play Ultima Online, but the Cyrix just can't handle the graphics load. What should i get?

Well I just reformated 2 nights ago and am instaling everthing. When I use my top dvd drive, (also a dvd burner) it starts making loud sounds. Never had this happen before. I can feel the vibrations stiting here. What could it be?

I have two computers, the other one is in the next room. Is there a way i could have a app like remote assistance on the pcs so i can control the other pc without walking from room to room? I recently started using foobar2000, and the program went fine until I played Aphex Twin - Windowlicker EP. It was displaying the tracks in alphabetical order instead of by track number, and it started doing the same for a few random albums. I tried using the freedb feature, but it did nothing, it would right the track numbers until I closed and reopened the program. I've switched back to Winamp until if I can find a solution to the problem, since foobar2000 takes a lot less time to function with a larger track library.

Hi, I just bought a CS:S account (includes DOD:S too :O) for 500k gold in a game called 'RuneScape'. However, I always had problems when playing games that use DirectX. Usually, I solved this by adding -opengl in a shortcut. This would make the game run in OpenGL mode, which means = no problem. This does not work for CS:S, it still runs in D3D mode.
