Well, I'm in the market for a new MOBO, but I want to make sure that I get a motherboard that I can actually overclock, because the last couple of motherboards I've gotten they all have this stupid auto regulated overclocking method where you just choose the percentage and it does it for you. I want to be able to change frequencies and voltages... As of right now I only know the socket type of the CPU that I want to get, and that's going to be a LGA 775, but to as the chip - I haven't really figured that out right now. I idle this network regularly at college and came home for winter break on my desktop and typed the usual, "/server irc.lcirc.net" and for some reason every time it would just sit at Connecting.. for hours and never connect. I went to lcirc.net and looked at the "servers" and attempted to connect to this one "/server Tetchy.lcirc.net" and it actually worked. i keep getting fault addresses like 0x348000 ...etc. whenever I play my newly installed game Bully. I'm only running on a gig of ram which is the minimum requirement...I'm guessing putting more ram into the system will stop the crashes? But just want a confirmation.

right, this has been happening for the last few days, my moniter would work fine for around an hour, then my screen goes blank.. if i leave it off for about 15 minutes, i can get it back, but not for long.. is it over heating? how do you think i can fix this? or is it best just to buy a new moniter.. <3

I got spyware on my laptop, so I reinstalled windows on it, so basicaly when I go to device manager I see a whole bunch of yellow question marks for everything from my vid card to my sound card to my network card. The problem I am having is I can't open my laptop up, I tried taking out screws but to no avail. Anyways my question is, is there any program out there where it will detect what I have on my laptop and give me model #'s because my desktop comp can go on the net and get the drivers for my laptop.
