Alright, I've been using IRC for years and I'm proficient enough to know how to fix an error, but when I try to connect to the myg0t IRC channel it doesn't connect and says "software caused connection abort" I've tried everything I know, including attaching my laptop to 5 different networks. I've tried three different proxys. Is the problem on my end or myg0ts?

here is my solution without access to the router or firewall.... It requires extensive network c++ code, expert kernel modification and expert network disassembly.... My power supply fan went out and I have a shit Hewlett Packard. Ive heard about how hard they are to work on and shit, and I now know first hand. Ive been to Frys, Best Buy, Comp USA, Searched newegg.com and ebay for a new power supply that can fit my computer. Ok i got a problem with my internet connection, maybe someone here knows more about this since i tried everything i can think of and it still wont work. Problem: whenever i upload more than 1/2 mb my internet connection just dies, i have to reconnect to make it work again. i have a cable connection with a 3com OfficeConnect cable/dsl gateway (3c855) and a 21com router. I tried installing firmware and fucking around with router settings but it doesnt seem to work. Strange thing is everything worked fine when i bought these things. hey, just wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem i've recently got. I have an SB live sound card and it's worked fine until now. I had to format my pc and after I had done this only two of the speakers were working and I had no idea why this was, so I updated the drivers and they all seem to be working now except all the bass has gone. I've checked the sound settings and made sure options we'rnt muted and made sure the settings were on 5.1 and the bass is up. Anyone got any suggestions?. Cheers.

I bought cs a while back and he came with half life and all that and I lost my game cd case w/ the key for the game.. but i still have the disks and the box it came in.. Any of you think it would be worth it trying to call Steam or whatever and trying to like re-gain my cd key or something so i can play? or is it just a waste of time
