Basically I'm on a piece of shit right now for CS 1.6 PIII 522mhz 256mb ram nVidia TNT2 Model 64 I usually get hmm, around 20-25 FPS in CS. I'm getting a new budget computer by the end of the month for school. It's probably gonna be around 2.4ghz with 512mb RAM. The video card, I don't know, but obviously budget, and I don't have the cash to buy a nice video card. I will stick with the one that comes with the system. Basically... What sort of performance will I be getting in Counter-Strike: Source? I am not a graphics whore, but I want NO lag. Resolution will probably be 800x600 or 1024x768, with medium detail. I get this Error: 'Steam.exe (Main Exception): ERROR: delete of steam.exe failed,Win32 Error 5 'Access is denied' ive had this problem before and all i had to do was disable my firewall. but now im having the problem again and no firewall is on. any suggestions?

Well im visting my parents this month and they have this program on here called AFAFilter Internet Protection Services v 4.4 It blocks 95% of the websites you try to access wether it has bad content or not. I have the administrative password and when I try and shut it down it doesnt let me go to any website (even google) until i turn it back on.... any help?

Figured that I'd post this here since its the only place it fits. I got a new set of headphones today and they dont work. I tested them on my brothers computer and they work. The Volume control doesnt recognize it as a playback device. Any ideas what the problem is?

Well, let me be the first to break in this area... I'm trying to install a second hard drive, but I'm honestly too scared to do so. Anyways, I have an old 20 GB Hard Drive with some space into it, if I wanted to, could I install it without having any boot problems (I.e. Computer tries to boot from slave drive, which it will be.) And if I install it, can I defragment it to reobtain more space? Call me a n00b, do whatever, but please help me out.

Ive been going insane trying to find out why the hell non of my hacks(injectors) work anymore. Recently, I have been working on steam a bit, and when I try and use injectors now, they crash my games. Half life, Half life 2, Counterstrike 1.6, CS:S, Ts, Ns, You name it. Non of them except for ONE work. ECC v4.0. And its starting to make me go INSANE!!!! :no: Any suggestions? This has never happened before, so Im not sure WHAT is going on. :shrug:
