I know this first one is old, I saw it last year as well, but the 2nd one I just saw the first time last week, thought I'd share. This chick has some ass skills, not the normal nigger dancin booty meat shakin shit you see. Anyway, here you go: Part 1 Part 2 You might have to confirm your birthdate to view it, worth it though.

rate & suggest improvements for my new pc
You need to do much reading if this is your line of thought. Short answer, yes. A little more detail: Intel's Core i7 is the fastest processor on the market right now. Recent benchmarks have shown the Nehalem 2.66Ghz Desktop CPU (the one I ordered) is 20-40% faster than the Intel's own Penryn chip with it at 3.2Ghz. So, while you are partly right that at the moment many applications barely support dual-core, the insanely faster memory access speeds of these newer chips far outweigh any reason you'd want to stick with single or even dual-core when upgrading. And don't forget about the improved HT. Another great thing about i7's is all the overclocking capabilities built right into it. With stock 2.66Ghz already out performing everything on the market, every review I've read says it very easily OC's 3Ghz+, with some even going as high as 3.8Ghz with decent temps. Google for citations.

If you think 540fps was a joke, you have no fucking clue about real gaming systems. One single GeForce 8800 GTX has been reported to play F.E.A.R. at up to 386 fps (at a low resolution), so you can imagine my newer card with my outrageous system. SLI and Crossfire pwn you k?

sp0rk, SSD's already outlast regular hard drives as they have no moving parts, require very little power and produce almost no heat compared to regular platter drives. Although SSD generally have much slower write speeds than regular HDD's, the read speed on the slowest SSD is 2X faster, among many other advantages. Take a look at the below video posted last year on Vista: I plan to have my OS and games on the SSD and less time-critical media on the traditional drive.

ive seen from benchmarks they run a little hotter but thats nothing you cant fix with a proper heatsink and plenty of thermal paste.

I'm talking to a guy at my work right now who bought the same CPU, he says hes got his OC'd to 3.8Ghz, I will try this later after I buy new heatsink.

New PC Pics (Part One)
wow are you serious about the 30fps shit? i get around 540fps in crysis. your pc sucks, you are a dumb fuck for buying shit so cheap, if you had waited another month and simply doubled your budget youd have a computer that could last at least 3 years instead of barely 1. flame my pc here please: http://forums.myg0t.com/showthread.php?t=49775

Solid State Drives right now aren't as much about size as it is performance, look around a bit and you will see plenty of what I'm talking about. For an example, a PC I built for a co-worker running XP Media Center fully boots into the Desktop in 10 seconds from button press which is actually slow for many SSD. However, compared to even just last year, the storage size versus price on these drives has DRASTICALLY improved. There are many SSD's of 60Gb capacity for around $150 which was unheard of last year. 1TB on traditional hard disk is $87.99 right now on Newegg, I will probably add one of these later on for MP3/Movie storage.

Overall rating 1 to 10, 1 being worst and 10 being best. Couple of things to know before you make any suggestions, the components I chose are there for a reason and not simply to have them, so they all play a role in the plans I have for the PC. So, while comments about not needing X or X don't apply, feel free to suggest better alternatives. The majority of these I am getting from Newegg, I will list the product description and price (rounded up): $289.00 - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920 - Retail $300.00 - EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $200.00 - CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8D - Retail $215.00 - Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail $265.00 - OCZ Solid Series OCZSSD2-1SLD120G 2.5" 120GB SATA II Solid State Disk (SSD) - Retail $20.00 - ICY DOCK MB882SP-1S-1B 2.5" to 3.5" SSD & SATA Hard Drive Converter - Black - Retail $230.00 - Antec TPQ-850 850W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail $380.00 - XFX GX285NZDFF GeForce GTX 285 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail $135.00 - LG Black Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner SATA Model GGC-H20L - Retail $23.00 - LG 22X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA Model GH22NS30 - OEM Approx. $2,057.00 + Shipping & Receiving
