  14. For all you foreigners and American retards who don't know how the election process works: http://bensguide.gpo.gov/3-5/election/president.html I'll post the important part for you: On topic, I'm 9000% for impeaching Bush. He is at the very least guilty of incompetence and crimes against humanity (Afghanistan, Iraq, USA).
  15. Al Gore won the first time not Bush, anyone who lived in America during that time knows this. Most of you stupid fucks on here arguing weren't even old enough to vote then, some of you don't even live in America so how can you claim to know so much about our way of life and politics? Oh that's right, you watch the same news we do, the fair and balanced news reported by the Associated Press, right?. As for the 2nd time, can anyone even argue that it wasn't rigged? The American people never elected him the first time, we all loath and hate him, yet we are stupid enough to overwhelmingly "elect"" him for a second term? You idiots who think your votes for president count need to wake up and realize it's the votes for your local representatives who actually pick the president (that's right, you don't pick him, they do) that actually matter. Only until people start voting and caring about local state politics can the national politics start to be reformed.
  16. I can't understand half the posts you make because you constantly contradict yourself. The company I "work for" doesn't discount my service because I'm not an employee, I'm a sub-contractor who on a bad year still earns five times what their employees make, so they don't see a point in giving me an break. It's alright because I give myself a discount anyways. As for Cox, they are the same as TWC and CC and the rest of them, I've heard all the same type of shit from OMP when he still did office work for them.
  17. As in many areas of the United States, where I live there is an unfair advantage given to the cable company, that being there is only allowed to be one in this region. I happen to work for the company that serves the majority of my state and the four states surrounding mine. If they did this I would have no option but to switch to a phone company. I refuse to pay usage rate fees on the internet. The internet has always been meant to be unlimited and free to access. You pay for the rate of speed by which you are able to access it via the internet providers networks. I absolutely refuse to pay a higher rate for a faster speed tier only so that I am able to reach my allotted bandwidth usage for that billing period quicker than other customers. Internet access should not be allowed to be turned into another tool to steal the hard earned money from our pockets. I have a unique perspective here as I work for such a company and my living is paid for by people just like all of you and myself (yes, I still pay for my cable access, not even a discount), but I am also a consumer first and foremost.
  18. Comcast and Time Warner cable companies to start limiting internet usage. We don't normally post this type of stuff in the news here at myg0t, however this is pretty closely related issue to many of our online entertainment and social-networking lives. I don't want to turn this into a big rant of mine, I'm more curious what the users of our site and the ones who just lurk it think about this. If you have yet to read the news articles for yourself, just follow this Google News link to a plethora of coverage about this topic: http://news.google.com/news?q=comcast+time+warner For the TLDR'ers, basically Comcast now admits they were "slowing down" P2P traffic, specifically BitTorrent packets. Now fearing the wrath of the FCC amidst the recent net neutrality proceedings, a consortium of cable operators are instead going to BLOCK and LIMIT the usage of the top 5-15% of heavy bandwidth consuming users. They have already started their "tests" in certain parts of the country. I'm not trying to be a fear monger here, these tests only apply to new customers and not existing ones, but we all know if they deem their "test" successful then we will all be fucked in the end. Would you leave your current broadband provider if they started imposing such limits on you? No more flat fee rates for internet usage? Would you leave the cable company and switch to slower but comparable broadband speeds with a phone company? These are the questions I'd like to hear the answers to. Please reply with your comments, opinions, and ideas.
  19. It's nice to know that not only did everyone else in this thread not read my other posts here but also you EyeReesh. Do you idiots really only read the first thread post and then click reply?
  20. Please read both articles in my previous posting, you are assuming the reports you read in the news and see on TV are correct. Yes what I posted secondly is considered a news article as well, but it has one big difference, it actually has real sources and IT CITES THEM.
  21. He isn't really the idiot that major media makes him out to be, although you're right about him not having any real power in Iran. Power in Iran has lied almost solely with the Ayatollah's for the last what, 100 years? The real idiot's are the head political figures who get their information from the same places and people that we the general public do. http://www.mohammadmossadegh.com/news/rumor-of-the-century/ Here is a nice article on a site I read pretty often about this latest series of statements, what was actually said, and what we are being told was said: http://mwcnews.net/content/view/22963 :wow:

  24. I RIFK'd when I read this about Iran's leader, Ahmadinejad. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/article4058328.ece He had some great things to say about oil prices though, I couldn't agree with him more: While the growth of consumption is lower than that of production and the market is full of oil, prices continue to rise and this situation is completely manipulated. The blame lay with some of the powerful international capitalists who artificially keep the price of oil and energy and consumption taxes high while encouraging the extraction of fuel from basic agricultural products. While more than 25 per cent of the poor people of the world spend more than 75 per cent of their income on food, the imbalance between production and food consumption is becoming more severe, hidden and unhidden hands are at work to control the prices mendaciously to pursue their political and economic aims.
  25. This post is to honor the memory of r4iney. Our finest member from Denmark. He went into hiding almost two years ago after getting into a lot of gambling troubles, only for it to eventually catch up to him. R.I.P. r4iney of myg0t - m3n of all Danes 2003 - 2008 You'll be missed brah.
