thats the problem- something shorts out when I open it, and it turns off about 50% of the time. What carrier (if you have a phone) are you with Wrath? I've heard shit stories about all the US-based carriers, but after this mess with Verizon I don't want to stay with them.

Yesterday, I headed into the Verizon store to get a new phone, as my current one was broken, and would NOT keep a charge (even after a new battery) I was looking at the LG VX9800 (http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=1941) and decided it would last me a while. So, I go to purchase it... (I've had my phone for about a year and a half) and I was informed of a new policy change as of yesterday; apparently this change has locked me into this phone untill the end of my 2 year contract, which is not untill March of next year! The system would NOT let me purchase the new phone... even though doing so would be costing me 350$ AND locking me in for 2 MORE years of Verizon service. I may not understand all the dynamics which went into this policy, but it seems pretty stupid to me... I even tried going Best Buy to purchase the same phone, and when I tried, a saw a message which stated I could not purchase the new phone because it failed to meet the contract. Anyone know what I could do?
