It's called "hardcore dancing" and it's the gayest thing since emo. Every time a hardcore dancer is by himself or with a few friends, and there's a circle pit around him, I make sure to try to kick him in the ribs or push him into the circle so he gets briefly trampled. Those kids are so gay. They ruin the awesomeness of a true pit. Every time one of them does this, gang up on them with a group of friends and beat their ass. Fairness is for pussies.
