I remember hearing that in Australia it costs up to 100,000 dollars a year to keep an individual imprisoned. What is the situation in the US?, are prisoners forced to work in cheap labour camps or do they just sit around eatting and watching tv like here in Australia. The reason I ask is that sometimes I watch an American police chase show on tv (Cant remember the name) and I notice that the criminals recieve long prison terms (greater than 10 years). In Australia you would get less than half of that. Usualy people are imprisoned only long enough so that they can be rehabilitated, in the US it looks like the key is just thrown away. How can they afford it?.

I was at work one day and a friend let me use his cb radio. I was having problems with my shitty vista laptop... so I backed up my codez and formated. However, when I opened the cd I burnt it didn't work :confused:.
