Ok I personally played the Beta for FFXI when my friend told me to apply for it. For everyone who's wondernig if it is worth it or not, it IS.....if you have the amount of time. Ok, basically from level 1 - 15 you train solo, and after that you HAVE to train in parties to make any decent form of EXP. Half of the newbies will begin to piss you off..namely WARRIORS who don't provoke and let the White Mages die and then everyone else in your party dies. Now to get onto the point, my total play time was (this was for 2 weeks then I got a new girl friend and there was no time for playing). Game Play Time : 1 week, 5 days, 19 hours and 9 minutes. My level was level 30 Thief with ideal equipment for that level. Now if you have a job, and school..and other shit (girl friends, party, and your active) your going to have no time to play. I found it difficult to play durning day so most of the playing was done after 1 or 2 AM. Anyways that's my opinion on FFXI. Only get it if you have the time or you waste money.
