The update fixes the packet crash. That's why you need it, otherwise online play disconnects every 2 minutes. Here's how it goes. Download and install the torrent, on the 1st page of this thread. Download and install the patch 1.2, I got mine from http://www.gamershell.com under patches, Deer Hunter the 2005 Season. Some people use DaemonTools, but I DL'ed a noCD crack and put it in the main folder, works fine. Download the Hack, Deer Hunter Hunter, also listed in this Thread. Start the Hack before you start the game, and it should work fine.

Join the #deerhunter channel on the g0t mIRC channel. Someone might tell you how to work it. :drama:
