think about this: if you were trying to get someone to partake in your services, would you tell them you were offering a shitty product? no. from the price of it, it looks like he is marking everything up so he makes profit. seriously, it takes me about 15 minutes to build a computer, its not hard to learn and you will save alot of money in the end. for low-end to middle-end system, i suggest buying prebuilt. but anything high end, you will save hundreds of dollars building it yourself!

if you only want to play 1.6, then you dont need an expensive card. get the radeon. but i'd just save up and go with a 8800GTS.

the c2d requires eats less power, what are you going to do with your system? the AMD is good if you are going to be doing thinks like compressing files with winrar or photoshopping, but if you are planning on transcoding or encoding audio/video then the core2duo is a better choice. go for the AMD if you arent going to overclock, if you are, then go for a core2duo. i would go for the c2d E6600 if you can afford it, if not then save money, buy the cheaper one, then buy a quad core later.

get a cheaper case, buy a GOOD power supply, at least 650 watts, check the 12v rails on it. if you are going to go SLI then you need a bigger power supply, but i would get about 800 if you want to future-proof your new system. dont get two video cards right now, theres nothing out that will need two geforce 8800 gts 640 mb's, i suggest you get just one geforce 8800 GTX 640 mb, then later on you can get a cheaper/better card when it is actually needed. what is the latency on that monitor? and what are the resolutions. yeah try to get ddr2-800 so you can upgrade your cpu later and they will work together.
