I'm positive there have been cartoons / satire about Jesus, Abraham and others in the past but you don't see followers of those faiths getting militant. I think it is unfortunate a religion originall founded around peace got warped in its modern day for into a global militant mentality to bring about the "peace". Nothing to my knowledge in the quran says kill kill kill to my knowledge. Now take in mind the militant ones are only a VERY small subset of this group, and unfortunately ruin it for the truely peaceful ones. Oh yeah, Christians have a small group like the Muslim extremists, they're called Southern Baptist, my apologies.

I've been away from myg0t for awile due to all the crap that was piling up. Thankfully I see wasted SQL space now getting the hammer as of late. Awesome to see this place weeded out some and a level of maturity restored.

Pick a distro and run with it! I work at a computer shop and the authentication thing is a complete pain in the ass. I have many unsuspecting customers who are coming in and wondering why we aren't doing Windows Updates on their systems (standard procedure). The general computing populus is unaware of what "using my friends Windows XP [corp] CD" really will start doing to them. One work around is to download the updates manually (they are typically KB somthing.exe files) and installing them one by one, but if I miss one and that lack of an update gets exploited, it makes us repair guys look bad. Needless to say I agree with the community, more and more zombie / hacked / infected computers are going to be out there and make the internet miserable for everyone. These exploited PCs are going to bring money to the repair business, but are also going to drop user confidence and leave more room for faux "security" products to come out.

The ESRB is apparently getting involved as well. rifk at gamespot referring to it as the "Hot Coffee" game code.
