OK thanks for the help. I think I'll have a look at Redhat to get used to the very basics, then move over to Slackware if I'm decent with Redhat. It's not that I'm uncomfortable around computers (I'm A+ Certified >.<) It's just that I've never used a linux comp before. Anyways, thanks for the advice.

Yeah Sleeman's is probably our best. I just hate it when people try Molson, realize it sucks, then they assume all Canadian beer is like that. Now belgian beer is fucking good too. BTW everyone, this is now the official beer thread.

When you say Canadian beer is shit... I'm hoping you've actually tried really good Canadian beer. Like the microbrewery shit, not Molson Canadian. Shit Canadian Beer: Molson Canadian, Black Label, etc. Good Canadian Beer: All types of Big Rock, Sleeman's, etc.

I'm looking at putting linux on an older computer (1.2 ghz celeron, 192 mb RAM) for learning, and I was wondering what the best types are. I just downloaded slackware, because I've heard good things about it. Also heard good stuff about redhat. Anyways, if you guys have any recommendations, let me know.

Religion is a means of controlling the masses. Think about it this way. Organized religion, more specifically christianity sprung up about 2000 years ago. Back then, crime was rampant, disease was wild, and there were essentially no rules. People did what ever the fuck they wanted. Government could only control this so much, so they needed a way to control the masses. If the people wouldn't fear the government, they would fear a "God", something that was all-powerful, and something that awaited them after death. Thats what I figured, but I wasn't sure. And regarding the topic, I don't really believe in God, so I don't really have any strong opinions on religion. If you believe in God, w/e and if you don't, w/e.
