Yeah, merging isint really a thing I due to often, since I always go back to work on it more, and decide I hate something. The lensflair isint too bad a thing, its got a cool effect. edit: holy crap, I just looked at the edit one, and I must say, thats an awesome change. the stars are a great effect, and the beam looks outstanding. great work.

Also, I really don't like that lensflair. It kinda kills the picture. Its way too circular, and busy. Try toning it down a bit. [im not a fan of lensflairs loll]

Well, that there is your problem. I usualy do 2-3 set on 20~ diffrent layers, so it looks like it fights in, not scattered all over.

Get rid of the cutout+tech

the guy doesnt fit in well try blending him in more. Also, try putting him under more colorbalance layers, so he fits the color aswell. He is currently a bity too bright
