dead pixels are manufacturing defects, theres usually some disclaimer that comes with lcd's about how a certain % of dead pixels are to be expected and the manufacturer wont do anything about it unless a big piece of the screen is fucked

VAC or VAC2 (soon to be?) only bans if you use "hacks" on secure servers, there is no human input to it, so people can report away its not gonna get you banned for 1 year. cheating on secure servers will (if its detectable)
