JUST THAT EVERYONE PLAYING VIETNAM WOULD KNOW. could be repost. The first patch for BF:Vietnam is almost done. DICE and EA released the word that the update will be available in the very near future and allready "entered the home stretch at EA". A good thing to hear is that the M60 has been changed in his power and fire rate and also has been removed from the LAW kit and replaced with the one and only M14! This patch will not include the Voting GUI as it is in BF1942, that will probably follow in the next update. While future Battlefield Vietnam updates will include game features that were added to Battlefield 1942 post-ship (such as the Voting GUI), v1.01 is intended to address community related issues. This update will certainly bring some good changes and affects with the gameplay in BF:Vietnam. In the next weeks EA will make an announcement on the release of 1.01.
