  1. That's the spectator glitch. Instead of choosing a team when you connect to the server, you type "kill" in console. You then "respawn" as a spectator with the ability to buy weapons. From what I know, that glitch as already been patched.
  2. Very awesome. Raged a server for over 2 hours and they kept blaming the server and admins there. Freaking hilarious. The only problem I have is that I can't do it all the time. I press the keystroke pretty fast, but sometimes I just end up on a team. Is there a way to script this or bind all the functions to a single key so it could be way more efficient to do it?
  3. I only used one item to fuck up computers when I was in school. A neodymium magnet. Place that on a monitor or inside the computer = ownage.
  4. Don't know if this will help you, but when I was in school, we used http://www.dns411.com to find the IP address of sites that were blocked. Apparently, the filter we had only blocked sites based on a URL. We would put the URL in the NSLOOKUP part, take the IP address and put it in the address bar. One thing I noticed with it, though, is that it wouldn't load any pictures. You would only see a red X where the picture would be.

I would rather go with Voodoo PC (http://www.voodoopc.com) if I wanted a company to build a computer for me. Personally, I like building computers. Gives you a great feeling knowing you built it. And no, I don't laugh at anyone that doesn't build one. To each his own.

Mine is different that Maximum PC's. They had 5 500GB HDDs, 2 2405FPW's, and a $300 Raid Controller (they had the drives set up in RAID 3). In the end, their rig cost about $12,800. Seeing as I don't have a use for two monitors, 5 hard drives, and RAID, I would guess my rig would cost roughly $9,500 (those 500GB drives a very expensive).

I have to say that having a good instructor for CCNA makes a hell of a difference. I took the class (was known as Networking I & II) in my senior year of high school. Our instructor sucked. He knew stuff, but he just gave us worksheets and told us to log on to Cisco's Online Academy to look for the answers. We didn't do any lab stuff, except how to make cables. We did start working on a lab to connect a hub and stuff, but we only did it for one day and never touched it again. Almost everyone in the class (including myself) failed (well we "passed" because he added anywhere from 40-60 points to our tests, even the final exam). What was funny about the guy was that he was also the Team Health Advisor or some shit (basically the "medic" of the school's athletic department). I really do want to get A+ and CCNA certifications, but I kind of want to self teach myself rather than pay like $400 for a class or whatever. Basically read up on the stuff, take the test, and finally get certified. Speaking of which, what books/book sets do you guys recommend for CCNA? I just did a quick search for CCNA books on Barnes & Noble and there is a just a crapload of books. Also, if you guys know of any other books for other certifications (like A+ or Network+), please feel free to suggest them.

Hmm, seems HL2DM is getting updated tonight. I will bet that the exploits are gone now. Oh well. I can still have fun with IcT. EDIT- Yeah it doesnt work anymore. Everytime you put it in you get a message saying your X player model (male, female, combine, etc.) instead of the 'Your player model is WXplo1" or whatever.

Love the invisible exploit. Despite what the description above says, it does crash the server. I dont know if it is because I am dead when I put in on, but everytime I have used it, it crashes the server. It isnt a big deal since I can join it again right away. I think it is also pretty cool that even after leaving a server and joining another one, you stay invisible. Also, it seems my game crashes after using it for awhile. I get a "memory cannot be read" error.
