Solution #1 - Recompile, the hardest yet best solution. Recompile the model telling it to use the textures in the w_models folder, not v_models, for the world models. That way you can edit the .vmts in the w_model folder easily (As seen in solution #2) and remove all reflect maps from the world models without affecting the v_model, the result being you keep both your reflect maps and world models. The downside is it's only do-able by people who know how to compile. However, there is a guide in the skin & model creation help section. Solution #2 - Remove reflect maps. This can be done by opening the .vmts in notepad and removing the lines starting with: "$envmap" "$envmapmask" In doing this you will remove all reflect maps on the weapon completely, however your world models will work. Solution #3 - Delete all your word models/player skins that use reflect maps. You'll keep your reflect maps, but no world models.
