I doubt it. Maybe they haven't and I am the one who has changed. But I doubt that as well. There is an absolute lack of substance. Half of the threads are complete garbage with morons posting nonsense on them merely to raise their post count in order to achieve some 'elite' status. It is possible it has always been like this, but I don't remember it that way.

Did you get it working? If not, try disabling the onboard video in your BIOS. That is what may be causing it not to boot. If that doesn't work, see if you can try the card in another computer.

Does your GFX card need to be plugged in to the power supply? If so, did you do it?

Have you checked whether or not the BIOS of your laptop supports the processor? Will it's multiplier go that high? Are the processor sockets the same? Are the FSB speeds of the processors the same? If the new processor has a higher FSB, does your motherboard and ram support it? Your user's manual should have a schematic drawing of how to disassemble your laptop. You may not need to remove the keyboard or anything, might be a simple matter of taking out a couple of screws to expose heatsink. Make sure you have some quality thermal paste to reapply to the processor too. That is all.
