thanks i have one thing to say though RAGED is when a noob who has no fucking clue what is going on because he is getting hacked for no apparent reason and he gets pissed off PISSED OFF is when someone like me is brave enough to start a shit storm with the admin and get's pissed because the admin takes advantage of his power i would say i fall under the second category - because i am not a noob (far fucking from it) and i wasn't actually hacked and it wasn't for no apparent reason

*****THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT ABOUT MYG0T, BUT SOMETHING ELSE****** I was playing Source, right? I was playing on the (DBK) clan 24/7 office server (whom are a bunch of flaming ***s, btw) and I start bitching out the admin (for some fucking reason I don't even remember) and calling him a cock sucker and the likes, so he pulls some fucked up hack on me that seriously fucked up my CS game and kicks and bans me from the server. Now the problem is, this hack carries over to other servers too, and the hack makes the game go at a super slow frame rate, and I can only look straight up or straight down. God damn that fucking cock sucker **Gray Wolf and his little ass clown **Grizzly, I'm about to fucking report that server to Steam or something because that's just complete fucking bullshit (as a matter of fact, I am right at this moment). Fucking up my entire fucking game for talking shit on their little pussy assed server (ohh look! we're a bunch of fucking pussies who ban flashes and the admins act like they are three fucking years old!! weeeee!1!!). WTF kinda shit is that? How can I undo the variables and shit they fucked with? (or better yet, how can I get back at them? - yes I know that you guys don't want ppl asking stuff like this, but wouldn't it be cool to bring down a really big server like that? - I'm talking a 50 person server) And if someone from (DBK) sees this, FUCK YOU

Well what you've heard is complete bullshit. You may as well start off with the language you will probably be using the most in the longrun (C or C++). I don't care if you are too much of a pussy to figure out how pointers or something else works, do NOT START WITH VB. ITS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME YOU COULD BE USING TO LEARN C OR C++. Do not listen to this guy! I don't know why people keep recommending this - you are not going to create a professional project with VB. A little history for me - I started with C++ for Dummies. I did not understand a word of that book, and I finally discovered that it was the book that sucked at explaining stuff when I got a new book called (whatever that SAMS C++ in 24 hours book is). That cleared everything up that C++ for Dummies failed to describe correctly. Then I got C++ Primer Plus (another SAMS book, really good book btw) and now I'm into Petzold's book.

DO NOT start with any BASIC languages (I don't care if it's Visual or not). This will do you no good in the long run. I recommend that the guy who started this thread start with C++ but do not completely neglect C. If you want to do Windows programming or game programming for Windows (the real way with the Win32 API, not the Visual or MFC bs), most concepts that C++ contain that C doesn't aren't going to be relevant at all. (I wish I had started with C instead of C++ for this very reason).
