The problem is, the fact that parents coddle their kids so damn much. Schools are replaceing red markers with purple, because red causes 'low self esteem'. This is bullshit. Parents aren't being blunt enough with their kids. If you ask me, the entire American/British population needs a comeuppance, knock them down a few notchs and let them fend for themselves.
