No I had just installed Windows 95 like 2 weeks prior and I invited a friend over and he got on and in like two minutes he crashed it. I tried reformating and reinstalling but it would get to the starting windows screen and lock up every time. So I went back to 3.11

The last time I had to RE-install any os was back in like '95 on my solid 486 DX2. I had to reinstall Windows 3.11

I have a CoWon iAudio X5 30GB and a Sony NW-E407 1GB flash player. The X5 sounds awesome, I like it cuz it supports Ogg Vorbis and FLAC. But, the file system is a little too clunky to make use of the capacity so I use my sony one the most.

I goto the place called a "store" (shhh don't tell anybody) and download them off the shelf. Then shortly after I got the counter and upload some money, and it's all good! I still like CD's cuz I am really picky about sound quality, most of my library of some 400+ CD's are ripped in VBR WMA. I like that format cuz it gives be a base so I can convert them later to ATRAC3 and Ogg Vorbis for my PSP and mp3 players. I like to make it hard for people to get music off of my stuff. A guy I work with liked some songs I had on my PSP and tried coping them to his laptop only to find out after he couldn't play OMA files.

Metal Gear Solid And uhhhh Duck Hunt.

I'll agree that in all of those pics the 360 versions look better except in NFS: Carbon where it is so damn close it's just a matter of preference IMO. PS3's best looking game right now is Resistance:FOM, which looks just as what you would expect from a Geforce 7800GTX....good but not great. The 360 has some really good looking games like Gears of War, Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Lost planet. All of which show off the 360 more efficient shader architecture. But Gears of War and Splinter Cell: Double Agent both seem to have vertical sync issues sometimes. The PS3 games look good as well but the frame rates suffer because the RSX has less pixel shaders. I'm just waiting to see how the final version of Metal Gear Solid 4 looks.

American soldier stationed in Korea stupid. I'm from Tampa Florida. So I guess that you would mean that the video ram doesn't count? Ok then that would mean that the 360 has no ram at all then other than cache. They both have 512Mb of ram but they both use them differently. I think the ps3 has the memory advantage cuz of the XDR while the 360 has the GPU advantage. As much as I like the G70 based RSX, I still think that unified shaders are more efficient.

OK the "only" video card close to that is the ATI X1900?!?! Dude your like a year behind, google the nVidia 8800GTX, it has 128 unified shaders. The PS3 uses a G70 based GPU core which many know as the Geforce 7800GTX, 24 pixel pipelines 24 texturing units and 8 vertex pipelines. The PS3 ALSO has 512MB of ram, 256 of GDDR3 for the GPU and 256MB of XDR ram. RSX can use the whole 512MB of ram if it needs to but the advanage goes to the PS3 cuz XDR is faster than GDDR. All of the instuctions for the 360 have to reside in the video ram and their is only so many clock cycles per second that it can do before frames get interrupted , not slowed down but interrupted. Stuff like AI, sound, geometry, physics, controller input, internet conection, OS and so much else reside there and get processed along with graphics in the same memory which is why the 360 has a vertical sync issues. Floating point claculations are what make 3d rendering so your point that it's useless for gaming is retarded as well.

I like the convenience of being able to just pop a disc in my PS2 and not have to worry about EULA's and agreeing to all kinds of crap that you have to with PC. I like that I can buy a game and like 10 seconds after I open it and put it into my PS2 I can play it, without having to install........wait for a reboot sometimes........update to the latest patch........configure the display and sound and remap the keyboard........you get the point. PC games are a hella fun yes but I tend to like the faster instant action nature of consoles. However I don't think consoles will be able to come close to a PC for 1st person shooter cuz cuz nothing beats mouse aiming. Especially my Logitech G7.

Explain that to me cuz I saw that and choked on my soda. If I were you I'd get like a Geforce 7900 GT or something like that. You won't have to finance it and it will get the job done. I know that I say that I don't really use PC's to play that many games but that doesn't mean that I don't like to sometimes. I'm still gonna get a better computer next year.

I have 2 PSP's: one @ v2.0 for homebrew---and I never use it. and the other @ v3.0 that I use everyday really. I don't care what anyone has to say, v3.0 is pretty good. I'm thinking of upgrading my v2.0 to v3.0 cuz I never use the homebrew that i have and soon i'll be able to download PS1 titles to it making alot of the homebrew stuff pointless. Yes browsing the web on the PSP is clunky at best I maily use it for podcast from G4tv.com. I'll load it at lunch and eat while it downloads stuff from Attack of the show or whatever. Plus to play games you HAVE to upgrade the firmware, which isn't bad cuz you can still use the GTA loader if you REALLY WANT to play Super Mario 64 on your PSP.

I'm gonna have to say PS3. I just like the games that Sony has to offer. Metal Gear Solid Tekken Virtua Fighter Soul Calibur GT4 etc. I don't play halo so their was never a reason for me to get a xbox and the only things that look good on 360 are GR:AW and Gears of War. Plus I just can't get used to the 360 controller, no matter how long I play my brain is just wired for the PS2 controller. I might get a Wii when it's like $99 just like I did with the gamecube. But the only reason I got one was for Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes so if they make a Metal Gear Game that I don't have then I'll get one. Even though my wife just bought me another computer for our anniversary I still don't play that many games on PC. I don't want to pay $600 on just one component to play a game, on top of the $1000 for the rest of the computer that will just slow down to a crawl when Microsoft finds even more creative ways to waste CPU cycles.

Actually I got them stuck in a copier, it was the worst paper jam ever......toner everywhere............
