all you really need to know is a basic debit/credit system. the biggest problem most people have is accepting that debit doesn't always mean subtract. i could post a tutorial, but i don't think anyone here is interested

my personal philosophy is not to worry about death. it will come eventually, as it does for all living things. when i was younger i had to shift my thinking from "i don't want to die" and sometimes "i wish it would end now" to "i'm glad to be alive". now when people ask me how i am, i say "i'm still alive so i can't complain too much". some people find this response distirbing, so it's always fun to watch. this is how i got over my suicidal/depressed period of my younger years. btw, prozac is awesome, besides the random twitching it causes. adulthood: save as much money as you can while you don't have to pay for anything, it sucks having to sleep with your 50 year old landlord becuase you can't make rent
