rofl. well its not that hard. i suggest it to all who need to bypass a firewall, because its easy to install, and it is better than proxies. oh btw, you can set the port to use too, so if they find out what you are doing, and block the port, then just change it. thousands of ports ftw:lmfao: man i hate shitty school admin.

ok heres your solution. its a tunneling protocol. go to http://www.tightvnc.com download the program. setup the server on your home computer. find the IP address of the server comp by going tohttp://whatismyip.com/. make yourself a server password. now burn the install to a disk, or bring it in to school on a floppy(the install is only like 1 meg i think.) now install the program on your school's comp, and go to the start menu, click all programs, find Tight VNC. under that tab, click "Tight VNC Viewer (best compression). it will prompt you for a server IP. type your server comp's IP and hit ok, then type the password for the server. now you should see your server comp's desktop. surf the internet from there. Before you go to school, you must remember to leave your server computer on, or you wont be able to connect. your welcome.

unless you are going through a server eg. school, work etc. then you can change the proxy your comp connects to, OR find a working proxy site.

trust me about this. for the last 4-5 months, i've been looking for CGI proxy sites so i can do w/e i want on my schools internet and not get blocked by their firewall. k. google search free web based cgi proxy. use this reference http://www.freeproxy.ru/en/free_proxy/cgi-proxy.htm and this one...http://www.proxys4all.com/web-based.shtml http://perrin3.com/links/anonymous.html k the ultimate one. http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml this one is shitty. most to all of those proxies dont work on my schools firewall, so theres a chance that it wont work on yours either. if you are looking to change your proxy IP to browse over someone else's internet and not your current this is the best one ive ever found http://www.samair.ru/proxy/ you're welcome in advance.
