Depends on what you want to get... If your building a new rig i would go with pci express becasue they got cards that only cost around 250 and they spank AGP cards that cost over 500... Get a MB with DDR2 low latency, and for sound the aduigy 2 is a very good choice...but i would only get a sound card if you have a 5.1 or more speakers...its worthless with cheap 2.1 speakers. but if you got pci express go for the nvidia 6600GT or ati x650 or somthing...
