i'll probably get flamed for saying it but oh well. sometimes if you look around for coupons online, you can get a very good deal on dell pcs. i got one that was top of the line, but with a shitty graphics card and didn't order a monitor or speakers. it was like 600 dollars. i upgraded to a new video card later and hoooked it up to my stereo and the crt monitor i already have. works great for me and didn't cost me too much, plus dell's tech support is good for broken keyboard/mouse/speakers, because they just airmail you a new one and let you set the old one outside for pickup. whenever i get too much dried cum, cheeto crumbs, and pubic hair stuck in my keyboard, i just order a new one. i'm not saying it's your best option, but it's worth looking into before actually putting the cash down for parts.

this game looks good, and makes me wonder why they bothered to rush out the 360 instead of making old hardware do new things like in this. but from what i've heard, it's gonna be a pretty stupid game. unlimited ammo, no reloading, and run-and-gun only gameplay. it's a good novelty, but not much else. the engine is the most interesting part.

build your own if you know how. it's cheaper and it's good practice. if you're bent on buying pre-built, get a dell. sure, it's lame and internet folks will laugh at you, but dell has some VERY good deals for the 800 and under market (at least 800 and under USD. mine was like 600 and was a fucking bargain) don't buy top of the line, don't buy a new monitor. getting mid-range stuff when it drops in price is a much better deal. monitors are always going in local classified ads for pocket change. i got a 400 dollar monitor for 65 cash, and the guy offered me another small one. and of course, if you find something that seems to good to be true, CHECK WITH THE BBB. or whatever equivalent you guys have. make sure the business you're dealing with is legit, or you'll end up fucked over. happened to me with "cyberpower inc.", as they sent me a brand new computer that was DOA. right. i'm off on tangents. build it yourself, OR look at dell, OR look at other businesses BUT make sure they're legit.
