W!cK3d do you still have the rar that has the files in it? i deleted it awhile back and I also tryed to d/l ati4ever's rar on yousend it but i dont think it has all the files that i remember when i first d/led it. could you mirror it for me.

Listen to what bonez is saying and install linux. it will definitely be to your liking once you install. I'd also recommend installing gentoo since it is one of the most customizable linux OS's you'll come across letting you install a multitude of kernels to your preference. THe only hard part is installing but there is a manual online for that on the gentoo website.

I also have an A8N-E mobo from Asus and i had the same problem after i first built my computer. Luckily for me one of the power supply cords was preventing the fan from moving. Anyway, you can take the advice on lubing up the bearings, etc. but what I would pay attention to is the heat of your chipset which you can see by d/ling one or antoher programs out there. ( asusprobe doesn't show it but I remember another "probe" that I had in the past did.) that will tell you whether the fan can wait to be repaired if you need to order something or whether your going to have to fix that fan yourself, maybe buying a new one if you're able to take off the old fan or even if you want to install a water cooling kit in your case. Best of Luck and don't fuck up your chipset unless you're willing to buy a new mobo. :wtcslap: :tear:

if its static electricity then it most likely affected the motheroard more than anything else even though it still could've affected the cpu or other components in your comp. best bet would be the bios as someone said before or even testing out your components in oan old pc to see if they work or not. (that is if the cpu core is compatible with the mobo, etc. etc.)
