Yes, and bf2 is not a processor related game it's more affected by the graphics card and for 450 I think you can get a 7800 GT which is much better.

Well based on experience I think you should head on over to http://www.dell.com and buy one of their laptops they use pentium M which is a very good processor and you can customize it there. Also dell just makes really good machines over all I know many people who use them and have no problems my sister just got a laptop from there and the screen is amazing and is fast so there's my 2cent.
