Could be true, but if you have seen many of the ripped movies nowdays you could totally swear that they are copies of real footages(dvds or tapes?) because the picture quality is really excellent and you can't really hear anything that would resemble a movie theater(No coughing, yawning and such). But if they are truely done by camera, the people who tape the movies sure put in way too much work for something they are going to jsut give away for free..
