Formatted C: and reinstalled windows. Sorted my graphics card issue. Sadly, I now an unable to connect to the net with it because I don't know how to. The way it is is my dads comp has the net connection and I get my net through his comp. However, I do not know how to get mine to form a LAN with his. Once I have that I'm sorted. Any help, greatly appreciated. It has a 1394 connection that's bridged and firewalled. (My comp) and his has the same and a LAN (With nothing... or so it seems) and the internet.
  2. I managed to get it out and then put it back in and booted up. Didn't turn up anywhere.
  3. In add hardware it's not there. Even after a reboot it's still not there. In the device managment the Display adapters section doesn't exist.
  4. I have an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X Graphics/video card (Not sure which) and windows isn't picking it up. About 2 months ago I did a repair installation to get my taskbar back (It just went, not a trace anywhere) and I lost most my drivers. Audio was reinstalled fine, however windows doesn't pick up my Craphics card. It knows there's one there or I wouldn't be able to see anything but it uses a default driver which is really crap. All I want to know is how to get windows to recognize it because untill then the drivers will not install. One thing, the card doesn't really want to come out of the slot. (The metal thing that holds it in that screws onto the PC case it kinda stuck)
