Many common ideas are wrong on this subject I believe. I do not believe in a higher power because I have things that cause me problems through no fault of my own; if there was a real "God", there would be no reason for such afflictions. Evolution is more towards my way of thinking, however the whole foundation of "something coming from something else" is flawed I believe, because the view is that "everything has a beginning and an end". It is hard for me to word my thoughts, so i'll just give an example. "Humans were once apes, so where did apes come from?" This chain of questions can continue forever, because the chain is either 1) endless, or 2) disagrees with "everything MUST have a beginning".

Qft. It is human nature to compete, and conflict is one of the few constances. There will never be a way of life that everyone is truely pleased about. Why the fuck do so many people think the human brain is superior to the idea of a robot brain? Just because we are organic, doesn't mean we aren't simply a system controlled in the same way as a robot is. Take for example, the anti-depressant, prozac. It tampers with seratonin levels in the brain, hence making the person happier/less depressed. If we can manipulate and understand brain functions and processes, it is only a matter of time before we can fully mimic them in machinary. Robots at present are only as smart as the person who programmed it because it hasn't been given the ability to think independantly, but if the programmer gave the robot such powers, which would be the smarter one?

I would consider this possibility if I cared much about computer specs and played higher spec games, however all I play through steam is 1.6, didn't like source. Take your unconstructive, unfunny and unoriginal comments elsewhere.

Tried restarting, uninstalled steam and reinstalled then it bugged yet again.

Ok, my steam has suddenly stopped working. I click the icon and nothing comes up, but steam is still listed in the processes. Anyone else had the same problem or possibly knows how to sort this?
