I guess I forgot part of what I was going to say. The BG effect, it looks like brush strokes of different kinds, am I wrong?

I was looking the recently made sigs thread and I came across this sig http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/8149/tudo9ls.jpg I want to know how was the BG to this colored? Because it looks complicated but I'm guessin it's everything but.
