I have to agree with Opter, crutchfield is great for anal rape pricing. Get EVERYTHING new off ebay. Seriously, I got some 6x8s off ebay for $66.00 that were $100.00 at circuit city. I also got some Polk MOMO 10" subs new, a pair, for $150.00. Thats wayyyy below retail. for $500.00 I think you could get some nice speakers for your interior and a nice MP3 head unit. The subwoofer venture usually is at least a $400.00 venture on its own, what with amp, wires, box, sub(s), etc etc. Bottom line, go to circuit city, listen to the speakers there, find ones you like and a head unit, get them on ebay, and get a car stereo literate freind to help you install them (maybe throw a few $$ at him for his troubles)
