I agree with most of your points. I did notice the suit upgrades and the stamina upgrades were nice (artifacts). The game does suffer some terrible shortcomings. I know I would never have made it to the end if I hadn't started going for headshots 24/7. It was fun though.

I just uninstalled it. Got both real endings. Good game, but I probably won't touch it again for years.

5 fake endings and 2 real ones for the single player. I have seen one fake so far. Reloading to complete more quests and try to get a real one.

It came out this month. :O_o: running at 1400x900, high settings, no AA, and I can't decide between full and object dynamic. Full chugs a little, but makes the game look 200% better. (EVGA 7950 GT KO Superclocked 512mb)

just a shout to all, the HATRED crack stopped my game from crashing in Vista ultimate 32bit, VG mentioned it earlier int his thread. So if your using the Vitality crack, go grab the hatred one (pirate bay is where i got mine)

I too am playing this and thought (oblivion - level up system) + SOF2 = STALKER. I am about 10 hours into it, and suffering constant crashing. I will have to crank down the dynamic lighting. I can't even do console-based game saves. The game seems rushed and will need some serious patching. The beginning is rough because the weapons truly suck and dying is very easy. If you stick with it, there are better suits of armor and much better weapons. I am enjoying this much more than oblivion because shooting shit is more fun than swinging a sword for hours. The artifacts are getting good too. Don't get me wrong, I agree with OMP that it is a decent game. I am also a whore for shooters. I will mess with settings more when I get home, see if I can fix the issues.

the new HD is sata and they have no jumpers. Where did you try to install windows from (in windows from the disk, or by booting off the CD)? I would say disconnect the old drive, plug in the new one, boot from CD, install windows that way. No permanent vista cracks have been discovered/made. Only ways to reset the timer so far.

meh. ibuypower is the opposite of Dell. It depends on what you want. Dell gives you incredible customer service at the cost of performance parts. To build a blazing desktop gaming rig from dell, prepare your wallet for ass rape. Ibuy is very different. If you don't mind talking to spotty "Chinglish" tech support, then your money will go further in the parts department. If you aren't happy with either, build it yourself or get someone to help. If a part goes bad, be ready to go through the hassle of RMA. That is my final take on that. I agree with aids on some points, but I defend ibuypower's reputation to the extent that they won't take your money and flee to Mexico.
