Yes, I sucked at it, the skillstick or whatever wasn't really my thing. Switching to traditional controls made it even more boring.

Avoid: NHL 07 - boring as fuck Consider: Pro Evolution Soccer 6 - while it's a stripped down version of the ps2/pc version it still is a damn good game, alot better than fifa 07 GR:AW/CoD3/GoW - excellent games although very short Oblivion - haven't heard a single bad word about it, maybe the best game at the moment Madden 07 - great multiplayer game PGR3/Test Drive Unlimited - good racing games I would also recommend that you pay for the Live Gold account, it's worth it.

Ehm...there is non split screen multiplayer games too you know. And not everyone has a bunch of nerd friends to lan with nor the time nor is willing to put such an effort on it. Consoles are alot more casual. As a side note; You can lan with an xbox/xbox360 aswell.

Imo consoles are about playing multiplayer games with your friends, which works better than with a PC. Out of those consoles I would pick the xbox360.
