The 1900XTX Beats the 7900GTX, end of. The X1800's are great, and beat the 7800GTX'S and the 7900GT with a light overclock. I have one, i should know. I don't know where you have your facts from, and if you want to post a specific link then i will read it, but I'm afraid the 1900XTX Beats the 7900GTX, fact. That link you posted is in favour of the ATi 1900.... Guys take a look at the fps benchmarks of HL2: Lost Coast. The ONLY resolution that either the 7900GTX or the GT beats the 1900XTX at is at 1280x1024, and this is by 1fps, yes count it, 1fps, by the GTX. Also, at the ultra high res that not many people play at, 1600x1200, with AA+AF, the GTX beats the XTX by a whole 3fps. The X1800 Even gets in on the action, and owns both the GT and the GTX at fps at 1024x768, the resolution most of us play at, and then is only 3fps off both the other Nvidia cards @ 1600x1200, with AA+AF off. In conclusion, Nvidia have done little to impress myself, and the people at ATi with their 7900 Series, and if you want to run CSS on 1024x768, you can get a X1800XT now for £180 INC VAT, which is amazingly cheaper than the 7900's. In conclusion, ATi give great value for money, and Even at the top spec card level of the GTX and the XTX, which will set you back around £500, the difference is so minimal, that it is hardly proof that one card is 'better' than the other, which then leads us to look at price and value where we see ATI excell. And just think to yourself, the game that Nvidia beat ATi on is Doom3, wow, that has such a big online following, wow yeah. Compared to HL2, which actually does have a following, probably the biggest in the world, well for CSS anyway. If you are looking to upgrade, and you have a suitable PSU, then get an ATi card. So yeah, ATi, at the moment, DO own Nvidia. PA.

I have an ATi X1800XT, and an AMD 3200. So yeah, ATi and AMD for me. I don't have anything against Nvidia, it's just i went for ATi on the day.

There are alot of mis-conceptions about this bug. There is an extremely easy way to get this glitch to work 100% of the time. Firstly, the best map i find to do the glitch on is office, because there is a view of the CT Spawn in the details menu. Here are concise instructions: 1) In console before you join a server type bind / "chooseteam;spectate" 2) Join a server, Office 24/7 servers are the best. 3) Press 'OK' and wait for the round to end, leaving the team choose menu up. 4) Hold 'TAB' so you have an un-obstructed view of spawn. 5) Wait for the CT's to start moving, and you hear "Ok lets go". 6) Wait a good 1second after the CT's move out, release 'TAB', and press "/1//" (excluding speech marks), not ludicrously quickly, but not slowly either. You should then spawn as a spectator with 1hp. 7) People get frozen if you fly into them in 3rd Person 'Free Roam' mode, or just simply spec them in the 1st person. Enjoy this glitch while you can, Valve will no doubt have it fixed in the near future. *Note: /1// only works if there are spaces on terroris (Team 1), if the terrorist team is full it works just the same with /2//. Best Rage Ever! Ok guys. On some CS Source severs, they have the new teamkill menu, with stuff like freeze bomb, firebomb, timebomb etc. Heres the deal. There is one bomb, that automatically kills everyone in the server, and restarts the game. Just get 2 people on the same team raging, kill each other, and repeatedly use this bomb feature. We have cleared out so many servers its not funny!!!!! Give it a go, trust me. PaperAngel :dfinger:
