Looking for around $5000 CDN tops... (about $4000 USD.) I'm a student, so right now I'm working jobs that require zero education, and don't pay enough =(

Drug of choice
To be entirely honest, I haven't done a wide variety of drugs... out of what I have tried though I found percocet/oxycontin to be ridiculously entertaining... take a bit of that, and you absolutely do not give a flying fuck about anything, along with being extremely relaxed. I dunno, I guess other than those drugs, I've only tried weed/mushrooms/xtc once, so I don't know a shitload about drugs.

Purchasing a car.
Okay, I guess I should have been more specific about what I am looking for. I am looking for a 2 door, coupe style vehicle, it can be a 4 seater, but I'm not really into the whole sedan look although they are functional... I want to get something reasonably powerful and fun, although it doesn't need to be anything amazing, because I know that I'm not intending on spending a lot of money on it. Stick/Auto isn't a big deal for me, I'm comfortable driving both, and to be honest, have no real preference, although I would lean towards a stick. And as far as FWD/RWD/AWD goes, I've driven both and have no real preference for that either... I would also like the car to be reliable for at least 3-5 years after purchasing without requiring any MAJOR work. Thanks again everybody =) Oh, and for MillerTime, if you could provide examples of higher quality domestic's within my price range, I would appreciate that, and I would definitely do some research into them... I haven't given up on domestic's quite yet, but I haven't had the best experiences with them in the past.

Once again I appreciate all the insight and helpful posts, thanks especially to rampagen/Tom, but I do appreciate everyones input. As far as buying a domestic vehicle goes, I have owned/driven several, and all have appeared to have reasonably significant mechanical problems... maybe these were just bad models/years, but I have had experiences with the following domestic cars. 2000 Ford Focus 1998 Ford F-150 1994 Ford Explorer 1979 GMC half-ton pickup (<--- this speaks for itself.) 1990 Chevy Cavalier

Well, I would like to get an opinion from the community on what type of vehicle I should purchase... at the moment, I am saving up to buy a second generation Toyota Supra, and its going to cost me a bit of money, so I need something somewhat respectable / reliable in the meantime. I am looking to spend around 5000 dollars tops to get something decent to last me for a while. Anyways, from reading previous conversation I've noticed theres a couple people that know a shitload about cars on this forum (Tom/MillerTime), so I figured this would be a good place to ask.... I am looking for a Japanese vehicle as I haven't had any good experiences with any of the domestics I have owned. But yeah, if anyone could give me any recommendations or tips for Japanese cars around 5k, I would appreciate it. Thanks- ive missed myg0t...
