That damn Grub fucked me up. I was trying to delete Ubuntu, but it left Grub on there. So when i go to try and start up windows it gave me an error. Long story short, i had to re-install. Not that im mad or anything since i was planning on doing it within the next couple of weeks but the fact that my fucking back-up didnt work. I think i'd have to burn them to dvd's but its over 30gb of shit so i just said fuck it and now im re-installing everything. At least now i have a clean install so no spyware or viruses that i didnt no about are on here anymore.

Well we've been together for 2 years and nothing has ever happened except this. Plus its underneath the skin not on top. Like i said it feels like a vein is blocked. I thought about that but i think she has her digital camera with her. (She went to a concert) So no pic tonight, plus i think her memory card is full, and my sister has the cord for the card reader. But if it doesnt go away soon ill post a pic of it. Then ill go to a doctor.

I had followed the first one earlier this morning, so i tried the second one and got an error. It said the beryl package cant be found. So i fooled around with it some more and got it to where it says e: broken package. So now im stuck. Ive looked on the ubuntu forums and tried all those solutions to no avail. I like the OS and all but i think its to much to do even the smallest things. I cant even watch videos on youtube because i cant get the flash player to install. I really just wanted a back up OS and i hate torrenting OS's since it takes 800 years to get the damn thing cracked and receive updates, plus theres always 10 fucked up files in the download. So i might just erase Ubunu and download XP and have dual boot XP and Vista. Ive learned that Linux is not for new people. Thinks for all the help Myriad. I love ya! :naughty:

About a week ago me and my GF were bumping uglies. It was really late, we were both tired, and i was drunk. So after about 30 minutes neither one of us had got off. So we were just like fuck it. But i still wanted to so i just jacked off. It was sorta one of those Jerks where you have to make yourself getoff. (If that makes sense) So after that we went to sleep, next day we go at it again but now there's a bump on my dick. Not a little pimple size bump but i think its an artery in my dick that got fucked up. So now i have a hardened vein in my dick. (at least thats what i think it is) Its about 1/2 inch long and about 1/8 inch wide. (not my penis the bump DURRR) It doesnt really hurt that much but just a little, and it only shows up if i get hard. So opinions, ideas, gtfo's?

Ok so after frustrating myself for the last couple of hours im pretty much done with this, This shit is fucking retarded. I cant even install flash player. I cant install Beryl either. Its either file not found, or unrecognized command etc etc.... This is just to much shit compared to Download the file and click it.

Ok im installing now. I forgot to make a partition for the swap file and when i started gparted it just sat there. I have 2 gb so it should be good until its done and ill just make one with mkswap afterwards. And now i understand the command lines and such i think. Just open up the terminal and paste? Is that really all you have to do to install Beryl?

I didnt understand anything you just said. Ive never used Linux before so ill have to mess around with it to get the hang of it. I read somewhere how to install Beryl but it made no sense to me. Where to i put that stuff? Im used to .exe's doing the work for me. As far as my system goes im pretty sure its good enough. I run vista ultimate really good. My boot time is maybe 10 seconds, if that, and i run pretty much anything without hangups or any type of lag. And Vista is a hog. 5600 am2 2.8ghz Gigabyte GA-M55SLI-S4 2gb OCZ Reaper DDR2 800 Lastly: What is it? Is it like a theme just more complex? Or what? Like i said im new to Linux so i still have alot of reading to do.

I ordered the Ubuntu Free disc a couple weeks ago but i still havent got it so i just DL'd it. I was still kinda skeptical about trying but then i saw a video showing you how to dual boot with windows and its so easy its not even funny. So after watching that i saw some videos showing Beryl. Which i guess is like a theme for it but Jesus Christ. That shit looks insanely awesome. Im waiting to do it until i have a day off in case something goes wrong. But if you havent seen Beryl check it out its pretty cool.

LOL how? Daniel talked to my sister for a while about it (she's not a full on lawyer but knows ALOT about law and studies it and has gone to law school, i think) But i wasnt there so im not sure what she said. Ill ask her tomorrow what she thinks. Edit: And Pete, why would it be ethically right?

Heres the back story. My friend Daniel needed a car, so his bosses (who are really cool and give us money and pot if we ask for it) decided that they would help him find one and even sign for it. They made an oral agreement that all he had to do was keep up with the payments and do his job. So he's been making the payments for about 4 or 5 months (about 250 a month) but today he got fired. He got fired for not doing his job. basically he would work his shift and not clean up after himself that night. Instead he would hang out at work, smoke pot and come in, in the morning and finish cleaning up. He had been caught and warned about this on several occasions. This time the owners were fed up and fired him. So now they want the car back. The owner is the Primary signer on the cars lease. So now my GF (who is the brother of the one who got fired) along with his GF are saying that he should be reimbursed for the payments that he made on the car while it was in his care. Which i got pretty pissed about because its sorta obvious that he SHOULD NOT get any money back. My argument is that it was a favor to Daniel and he was basically paying rent on the vehicle. And since they are the actual legal owners of the car they should be able to do what they want with it and not have to pay him back. So, should he get his money back for the monthly payments he made on the car, even though he broke the oral contract that was given at the time of signing?

You're a fucking idiot for writing all that shit (which i didnt read) because of what i said, which i thought most would just giggle at it a little and move on. This whole thread is really kinda pointless. Im sure somebody already said but you cant disprove or prove the existence of god because its based on faith blah blah blah. People have been having these arguments for thousands of years and what have they concluded? Nothing. Personally i think religion is bullshit. If something can cause human beings to start wars and kill millions of people then its pretty stupid. And i mean throughout history all the wars and deaths etc that have been because of religion. If there was a god he's probably feeling pretty shitty after 10000000000000000000 people (or whatever) have died in his name.
