I was sooooo close to getting an Hd Dvd player at Circuit City. It was 200$ and came with 5 HD DVD's. Great deal. But then i saw the Blue Ray and thought it looked just a little bit better. I keep reading about the format war and that Blue Ray is on top atm and may very well "win" So anyone have either/both and can give me your thoughts on which is better in your opinion.

I played it for a little while. It is alot like Far Cry. I love the suit though. Im bidding on an 8800 atm and its only at 200$ so maybe ill be able to run it on high. But just with my 7900gt it runs on medium.

Ok so not to sound to dumb. But what it started off as (the first pic) is the known universe right? Then it scaled down to where we (earth) is? If so, thats fucking crazy. Just reboot with the XP cd in the drive. Make sure the bios is setup to boot from cd and thats it.

Shit, i forgot you said that. Well yeah time for a sound card. I honestly didnt know if just one part of a MB could die, i knew fans could but not sound or video etc... If you're going to buy a sound card i made a thread asking for suggestions (since im looking for one myself) Its like 10 threads down. GL.

Can just the audio part fry without the rest of the MB frying? Im not computer savvy like most people here but if you're strapped for cash i would google and troubleshoot EVERYTHING i could think of. Would the unplugging of the HD mess up anything? Ive heard of not using the "Safely remove Hardware" thing and something messes up. You should just buy a card (im still shopping for a card, ive used onboard for like 5 years and im sick of it) But i would just mess around with everything. If its not fried its just something stupid that you missed. Like a checkbox isnt checked or some bullshit. Let me know what happens though, i love troubleshooting and learning about this stuff.

Yeah. Whenever you buy shit like that you're basically paying 1/4 for the actual parts about another 1/4 for labor and the rest just goes for the brand name.

If i could get my gay controller to work i would. But i never was good at Street Fighter, if it was MvC2 then i might do ok.

Im sure nobody would buy it if it actually hurt. (Well maybe a few people) But i know sometimes when im playing UT or Cod or whatever and im really into it, ill react to getting shot. (Usually this only happens if im stoned) But it would be cool just to have a little pinch or hit or whatever. I think it would add more to the game as far as intensity goes. And think about this as a stepping stone to future projects. Maybe someday they make a helmet that does something when you get a bullet in the head and so on...
