So that means i shouldnt have a nice big tv for anything i might get in the future? I said im not getting blu ray for a year or 2 because of the prices. And im guessing thats how long it will take for them to drop. I dont have cable atm because when we were going to get it the fucker had to leave and we never heard back so now we're deciding who to go with. Plus i have roommates who DONT have HDtv's so im sure they dont what HD cable. What does me having only store credit have to do with anything? Besides limiting my options? Quality doesnt matter as far as tv goes. I love watching movies, and also playing games. Thats the main reason why im getting it. The rest i really dont understand why you quoted me on it. So thanks for the help....i guess.

Trust me, i dont make a lot of money. Ive been in debt (not a whole lot) for the last 5 years. Plus with credit the way it is nowadays you can get pretty much anything with no interest. Ex: My old school game thread. Almost all on my paypal card and no interest. Im wanting an Lcd but 400$ more kinda sucks. They have another 47" thats 1080i or p but its out of stock everywhere. Plus as far as the HD stuff goes i really dont plan on getting a Blu Ray player within the next year or 2 if that. And i dont even have cable. I just download all my stuff so im not huge on the quality for the most part. But im going there tomorrow so im sure they'll have other deals. Thats just what i found on their site.

That is a nice tv. Only bad thing is that i forgot i got rid of all my regular credit cards so now all i have is a Circuit City, Walmart, and Target card. So im stuck with CC basically. So ive looking. ANd i found a few online at the store nearest me. Thanks! I am leaning towards an LCD more than plasma. Ive heard horror stories of burn ins and such on plasmas. My budget, i would like to keep under 1300 or 1400 and hopefully that'll include an extended warranty.

So now i have questions like always. Tomorrow im going to a few places and look for a new TV (im very excited but very pissed at the same time) So anyone have recommendations on the type of tv to get? Plasma or Lcd? I had a 52inch Rca that lasted about 5 years and im sure its the bulb but after reading reviews and stuff nobody really had anything good to say about it, plus its just time to get a new one. Suggestions? Im looking for a 42" to 50" And the only places im sure are there is Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City.

Thats 64 right? This is the first time ive ever owned a 64 so i dont know alot of the games. Dark, Goldeneye, both in my watch list. I just ordered a Dreamcast and Genesis. Both came with 10 or 15 games.

I have Battletoads and the Double Dragon games in my watch list. So far ive ordered these: 64: Nightmare Creatures Ready 2 Rumble Turok 2 Mario 64 Wcw vs. Nwo Sega: Sonic the Hedgehog Mortal Kombat Nes: Anticipation Karate Champ P.O.W. Renegade Arch Rivals Bad Dudes Who Framed Roger Rabbit Friday the 13th Super Mario 3 Narc And a bunch more im waiting to get like Ice Climber, Final Fight, Zombies ate my Neighbors, Splatterhouse etc... Im trying to get the cheaper ones first. Some of these are kinda expensive even as old as they are.

Its been years since ive played Nes and all that old stuff and ive forgotten all the good games. Anybody remember some good old games you played when you were kids? I just bought a 64, and a Fc Twin system which plays Nes and Snes games. I already have a Ps1, and i think im getting a Dreamcast and Genesis in a day or 2 so any games stand out in your head? In a month or so im gonna try and find a Sega master system, and get the add-ons for the regular Sega (32x, CD) Then go for the Saturn. Or even sites besides ebay and amazon etc... that might carry any of these games. Like Funcoland? So any help?

This thread is funny because i was just thinking about eating there. I ate at Zaxby's and Arby's and gotten food poisening from both. I love buffets though. Id rather pay a few bucks and choose different things than just 1 or 2.

I just finished No Country and i liked it alot. I just felt cheated with the last 1/2 hour or so. I cant believe they didnt show the final fight between the good and bad guys. They just showed him dead. Other than that i thought it was great. Im downloading There will be blood atm so i cant say if ill like but i hear its great.

What do you do? You have to be a retailer? Own a Tablet PC? Any of that bs or just register and do crap for a little while and get free stuff?

Will it still boot into windows or just show nothing? If it shows nothing: 1st thing is double check to make sure its actually pushed into the PCI slot all the way, and all connections are good. 2nd is that somewhere in the build it might have been shorted out buy something. Static or some shit. If it boots into windows whats it doing? Do the driver thing like sn4fu said.

Im trying Convertx atm, i like it more than cucusoft because it has menus. If Convertx doesnt work ill try winavi. But does it burn also or is it just a converter?

Im trying to burn a few episodes of South Park with Cucusoft Avi to Dvd converter. All the movies ive burned so far have worked fine, but now i burn the first 7 episodes of a season, all work and sound fine until i get to A Million little Fibers (the one with Oprahs minge) Them i get no sound on it. Just on the dvd, it plays fine on my Pc. I just installed the K-lite codec mega pack with no help. I used Gspot and it says it uses 0x0055 MPEG-1 Layer 3 codec which should be included in the K-lite pack. Any suggestions? Im going to try another program and see if that works.

Well yeah, torrents rules. I just did an inventory on all my burned movies and i have 528 burned and another 400+ store bought. Some movies i love to much to torrent them.

Yes dumbass. 20$ for all the shitty movies is expensive. All the good ones are what? 30 or 40$. Sorry not all of us can bum off daddy to pay that much for a movie. If you wanna pay 20$ for Dumber and Dumber in HD go for it. I see no point till they drop to what regular dvd's are at.
