Seriously? There is no one poor enough to have a computer / internet / electricity and not enough spare money to buy CS.
2. UR SO FUNEH
3. It switches from Stereo Mix when joining a server for me. Try starting the demo then start recording after the map has loaded (You can pause the demo and start from the beginning, etc).

I can vouch that the last segment isn't fake. I know a good handful of the people in the trivia section. (Including the guy that started holding the door open, and the guy that told him to shut up.)
5. Hey you guys, let's fight about 4chan.
6. This thread already has all the info you need, but I'll explain it a bit further. "$cloakPassEnabled" "1" //You see this mother fucker right here? Change it to a '0'. You have to do this to the Red and Blue versions of all the classes, in case the spy is disguised. A common misconception however, is that you cannot see the spy when completely invisible without some sort of external help. All this does is eliminate the animation from completely invisible to completely visible. So for instance, they are visible until they aren't (If that makes sense), no in between. Also, if you bump into a spy, they turn solid instead of just a glimmer of red or blue. It's just as simple as changing a '1' to a '0' people.

You can't.
8. Hahahahaha.
9. This was fixed with the release of the Steam Community, I believe. As for mute prevention in Source, I don't think there is anything public that you can really do aside from reconnection with a different name or just stealing someones name, etc.

TF2 is a decent game if you like the Fortress genre. The learning curve is almost nonexistent if you have any common sense (It was to me anyways). Just think TFC with no grenades and chances to do 2X damage at random, plus a bunch of other quirks to help make it unique. Portal is a pretty fun to mess around with if you like puzzles. There is a bit of competition in it as well with the bonus maps. I see this getting a lot better when the SDK is officially released next-ish month. E2 is just a continuation of the series, etc. If single player games aren't your thing then you can buy TF2 for $30. If TF2 isn't your thing then E2 is $30 and Portal is $20 (Chances are you'll already have HL2 and E1). All in all it's a pretty good deal if you're looking to waste a bit of your time.
11. Hi. Search next time, Okay?

That's only in servers without the update, son.
13. That can only be done when commentary is on.

Actually, from seeing the commercial once, it seems like it's going to be nothing like the game. What kind of Silent Assassin that has no interest in women, runs around with both guns in the air and starts kissing some random bitch?
15. As a matter of fact, it isn't. Seriously though, those should run it fine. However, if you want to keep up with the way games are going, you should either wait for the next newest card, or just go for an 8800. That should keep you good for a while (Your card will too, though).
