well let's say everyone pays 20% person 1 makes 50,000 per year. 20% of 50,000= 10,000 person 2 makes 200,000 per year. 20 % of 200,000= 40,000 The rich is still getting taxed allot of money. Only problem is that there are allot of loopholes and many rich people pay less taxes then their secretaries. Also, This would probably be just for income taxes. And so, while doing them you also have to fill out a sheet like this or something. Health Care [] Military [] Infrustructure [] Transit [] Police[] Fire[] etc [] You would just check off the ones you want, even all of them. Where i live the Roads are fucking shit, we don't have potholes, we have craters. Therefore i would check off infrustructure. BUT they get to CHOOSE what they want it to go towards, health care, roads, libraries, military etc. This way When you file your taxes you know what it's going towards and also Democracy means, "People power." This is like democracy taxes. Also let's say in a certain city, the police are acting retarted, well the people in that city can choose not to pay towards police next time, then the police will get less money and be encouraged to do their job properly.
