Well, one of the key aspects of SACD is that many of the discs contain encoding for more than two speakers...if that's all you care about. What's the point of having 7.1 channels if you're not going to have anything to use them with? Duh. Unless all you want to do is just listen to DVD's but I'm more into music myself.
