It's the equivalent to chipping it - flashing it with the latest firmware. Just lets you play copied games etc. Check out somewhere like 360 hacks or Xbox scene, they're pretty popular sites for it.

Yeah I have one and it's a pretty good console - has anyone flashed theirs? I'm thinking of doing it, maybe within the next week in fact. Not really bothered if it fucks up my XBL since I don't have it and don't intend to get it - I use the PC for all my online games, and I don't really play many games these days anyway. Yeah so if anyones flashed theirs can they tell me if it's worth it?
