  1. Best idea is if you have some desire to hear the information then listen - ask questions and do your research. Verify what you are told - you will find more honest recruiters than those who will lie to you. If you have any questions you can ask me, I am currently active duty Navy and have been serving for the last 26 years. My two oldest sons are also serving. I will be retiring this November. If you have no desire to hear the information then tell the recruiter. He should then document your record with your desires. You shouldn't expect to hear from him/her again for about 6 or so months (peoples lives change). Whatever you do end up doing I wish you luck. Life is full of challenges, don't back away from them.
