As far as it happening in the US I agree with Stamos. The US government might be able to stop the major ISP's from allowing connectivity with enemy countries in a time of war, or maybe even shutting down completely, but "It's unlikely that the government would be able to force every small ISP and college to stop their peering, and corporations and other customers with multiple ISPs would still have connectivity." I guess all we can do now is sit back and watch what repercussions might occur from this; and see how long and to what degree the Egyptian government is able to maintain this decision.

You should send them an email if you didn't send that one, or better yet go into the bank. Most banks are understanding when it comes to stuff like this, especially if you have been a customer for a while. I used to overdraft sometimes with my Bank of America account a long time ago. I would just go into the bank and explain why and they would wave the fee. I've never actually paid an overdraft fee. If what you wrote is true, and you already had the payment in place, and they caused it to go under because of the over draft fee then talk to them about it. They will either wave the whole thing(depends on your standing with the bank), or they will wave the $36 OD Fee, because the reason you pay for overdraft protection is so you can explain an overdraft and have them not charge you for it. That's what overdraft protection is. I would just go in, or write them an email explaining the situation. You paid that $15 to partake in the banks overdraft protection, which allows them to wave your fees if you talk to them about it.
