Nice. You've got some tough shit ahead of you, and a lot of work. But in the end you will have knowledge of, and a degree in, skills that are transferable into almost any field you want to work in. If you have the brains, trouble shooting, design skills, and 'working with your hands' abilities, it is one of the best degrees to have in my opinion. It will allow you to do anything from finding a nice quiet hobby that involves mechanical work that you enjoy doing, to making the big $$$ for design/engineering firms. Back in the day I used to want to become a mechanical engineer so I could gain more skills to work on cars and open my own shop. I eventually majored in the different subject but did and still do spend all of my spare time working on my car and friends cars. I signed up for every automotive class ever offered in my high school and colleges. Plus gain a lot of experience with engines via the military. I am currently saving up to open my own tuner shop here in San Diego. I just signed another 5 year contract, but once that is up I will have more than enough saved in the bank to open my own shop, and keep it afloat until business picks up. It is a huge market here, and I cannot imaging having a better job than being paid to build race cars for people. Non of my friends go to any mechanic now. They all bring their rides to me, and I charge them in beer, food, ect. I built the lower, and drive train for my buddies GTO I mentioned earlier. Did the entire rebuild of my RSXS myself, (with a few helping hands from friends for jobs that require more than one person.) Also built a monster out of an old F250 with the help of a buddy of mine, for his father. Taking a stock car, and tearing it down and rebuilding it piece by piece for for the best power result until you end up with one bad ass rubber burning race car is one of the coolest feelings ever. Seeing it transform from a stock mode of transportation into something that is so wild a few of my friends refuse to drive with me in is simple amazing. Once I get that shop going I will be the happiest person ever. A friend of mine is working on starting up his own company to make his own line of custom parts. (headers, pistons, sleeves, rods, crank shafts, ect.) If all goes to plan my shop may be the first to offer them. 100% exclusive race engines, crated and ready for installation/sale. Even thinking about it makes me want to go outside and do some work. But my RSXS is done. No point doing anything else as I am looking to sell it and buy a truck. Just kind of hard to find someone willing to throw down the $$$ for a fully built car. But I'm in no hurry. I'll most likely just end up buying a truck and keeping them both.

I've learned that when hungry enough, I will eat just about anything provided it has been given a very thorough boiling. You would be surprised at what you would eat in certain situations. Stay Classy.

My apologies then. I didn't know about the NoS because I definitely do not consider that a "bolt on". And yes, I understand about not wanting to mention it because of people saying shit on here. That's exactly why I didn't post any specs of my car. It's not worth getting into it with people on here over it. A GTO with NoS is fully capable of the times you said, so once again sorry for doubting you I didn't know it had nitrous installed. Stay Classy.

I'm going to go ahead and call BULLSHIT right about now. High 11 to mid 12 on a naturally aspirated GTO? LMFAO! No GTO has even gotten even close to that here at my track without a SC or nitrous. Please post a time slip showing 11.8-12.5. My buddy runs his 04 GTO @ high 11's (11.8-12) while running 8.5 pounds on a procharger. Unless you are running a Judge stroker (427) under the hood, there is no way your nat-asp. GTO is hitting low 12's (let alone 11's), without being a complete race rebuild of the engine. And you already stated it only has some "bold-ons". No new GTO gets those times with "bolt ons". Scan of Time Slip please. Stay Classy.

I'm not a fan of those new GTOs at all, but black on black like that looks pretty nice. I'd add a good tint job, throw in a good system and you're pretty much good to go for a pimpin' daily driver.

When most people I see getting really pissed off in online games, especially counter strike, i often hear myg0t brought up whether the perpetrator is a g0t/member or not. So you fellas definitely are the authority on online harassment! :naughty: And my time spent here has often demonstrated exactly what to expect, although there are quite a large variety of reactions to expect. Which one it will be can be hard to tell, and adds to the fun in my opinion.
